A Plain-Language Log Of What Happened On Screen
AI looks at the screen at the level you choose and writes a searchable activity log, categorised into 20 activity types such as email, meetings, documents, admin tools, development, social media and idle.

Rule Hits With Evidence, Reviewed By A Person
Write a rule in plain sentences. When the AI is sure enough, for enough looks in a row, it raises a hit with screenshot evidence. A person then marks it confirmed or not a violation.
- Confidence threshold from 50 to 100% (default 70)
- 1 to 5 looks in a row before a hit
- Test mode while you tune a rule
- Matches within 15 minutes count as one hit
- Every judgement and screenshot view is logged

Is this employee monitoring?
Yes. ExaGuards Insights reports on activity on managed computers. It is designed to be switched on deliberately, with consent, retention limits and logged access, and you should follow the privacy laws and policies that apply to your organisation.
How is 'worked vs shift' calculated?
From the HR schedule less unpaid breaks; night shifts are split across both days, and today is compared only with the part of the shift that has passed.
How often are screens analysed?
From every 5 minutes (Basic) to every 20 seconds (Extreme), or a custom interval, per computer.
How long are screenshots kept?
0 to 90 days with the presets, up to 365 custom; 7 days by default.
Who can see live screens and insights?
Only people with the right permissions, and only for the computers their position allows.
